More than a business
For more than 10 years, Mama Fido has used her gift for tailoring to serve people and families, creating and altering clothing for weddings, ceremonies, celebrations and the important moments of everyday life.
Her work has always been about more than fabric and thread. She takes time to listen, understand what someone needs and go the extra mile to help.
Her story reflects the biblical example of Tabitha, also known as Dorcas, a woman remembered in Acts 9 for good works, generosity and the clothing she made for others.
A devoted Christian, woman of God and proud resident of Tucson, Arizona, Mama Fido believes in serving people with care, dignity and love, regardless of where they come from.
That commitment grew into Mama Fido African Market & Tailoring, bringing together food for the home, clothing for life’s important moments and personal service for the community.
